Amherst welcomes the opportunity to thank you and acknowledge your bequest with gift credit for your reunion and the campaign if you: 

• Have already celebrated your 45th reunion, 
• Have included Amherst as a primary beneficiary of your estate, and 
• Document your bequest intention. 

You may easily and confidentially document your provision through our secure online portal with DocuSign®. 

Completing the Confidential Bequest Recognition

To inform Amherst of your plans, please click the form to enter the Office of Gift Planning’s secure DocuSign® portal. Here is how it works: 

1. Enter your name(s) and email(s) and click "Begin Signing." If there are two signers, please make sure to enter two different corresponding emails. 
2. A code will be sent to the email address you entered for you to provide on the next screen. 
3. Enter the code. You will be taken to the Office of Gift Planning’s documentation form. 
4. Complete the form, upload/attach supporting documentation and click the “Finish” button. 
5. Some fields in the form are required, and others are recommended. We suggest completing all the fields on the form. 
6. You will be required to upload an image of your provision mentioning Amherst to complete the documentation process. 

If you prefer instead to download the Bequest Recognition Form to complete and mail to the Office of Gift Planning along with a copy of the provision of the will, trust, beneficiary designation form, or other document naming Amherst College as a primary beneficiary, you can download it here.
